This is a stock photography site specialized in historic photographs. We consciously chose to avoid the chaos of millions of images — this curated, tailored focus is what sets us apart within the stock photography space.
The value of 19th- and 20th-century photographs continues to grow as irreplaceable historical assets, as only a limited number of photographs were taken during these eras.

Authenticity & Human Craft
Every photograph in our archive is authentic; none are AI-generated. All photographs curated by Photographium are processed without the use of AI. Throughout our restoration process, no AI tools are used. Every file is manually cropped, corrected, and retouched by a human specialist to ensure premium image and print quality.
Our Rights Managed Photographs Are Truly One-of-a-Kind
Every Rights Managed photograph in our archive exists physically in our own collection. Each one is unique, and each one is presented exclusively here, on Photographium.com — never distributed, listed, or sold through any other stock photography site or marketplace.
When you license one of these images, you're licensing something you genuinely cannot find anywhere else.

A Few Differences in Our Workflow
Our workflow features a few small differences from what you might be used to:
We don't sell different size tiers either. Every photograph is sold at its full original resolution for maximum print quality — the only choice is file format: JPEG or TIFF.

We do not host payment processing on our own servers. To ensure the highest standards of payment security, we partner exclusively with globally trusted and proven payment providers.
We do not keep our entire collection instantly ready. Most of our collection is already online and available for immediate download the moment you purchase it — for a small portion of our valuable historical collection, the full-resolution file is prepared and made available within 24 hours instead.

Most purchases are made available for download directly on Photographium.com immediately after checkout. For a small portion of our collection, the full-resolution file is prepared and made available within 24 hours instead. Either way, you'll find it on your My Purchases page — no separate link, no third-party service, just a secure download from your own account.
You can access your file at any time during the following 7 days by logging in to Photographium.com and opening the My Purchases tab in your account.
Please note that the file will remain available for 7 days only, so we recommend downloading it as soon as possible.
There is no need for concern if your file is not instantly downloadable upon payment; as noted earlier, our workflow features a few small differences from what you might be used to.
