Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026 09 15

1. General Policy

Because a purchase from Photographium involves the delivery of a digital file, purchases are generally non-refundable once the full-resolution file has been made available for download, except where required by applicable law or as described below.

2. When a Refund May Be Available

We will consider a refund, in whole or in part, in the following circumstances:

  • Non-delivery: The purchased file was never made available for download within the delivery window described in our License Agreement, and you contacted us about this before that window closed.
  • Defective file: The delivered file is corrupted, unreadable, or does not match the format (JPEG/TIFF) or license package you purchased.
  • Duplicate purchase: You were mistakenly charged more than once for the same photograph and license.
  • Applicable law: Refund or withdrawal rights required under the law of your jurisdiction (for example, statutory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived by this policy).

3. When a Refund Will Not Be Given

Refunds are not available simply because you changed your mind, purchased the wrong photograph or license package by mistake without contacting us promptly, or no longer have a use for the file. Because the value of a digital license is delivered immediately upon download, we are unable to offer refunds once a file has been successfully downloaded, except where Section 2 applies.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us via our Contact page as soon as possible, and in any case within 14 days of your purchase. Please include your order/transaction reference and a description of the issue.

5. Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times depend on our payment provider and your bank or card issuer, and can take several business days to appear.
