Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026 09 03
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Photographium.com ("Photographium," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: email address and username, when you register for an account.
- Purchase records: which photographs you've purchased and when, so we can show them to you under "My Purchases."
- Favorites: which photographs you've saved, so we can show them to you under "My Favorites."
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, message, and (optionally) a Photo ID if you're asking about a specific photograph.
Information collected automatically:
- Standard technical information collected by most websites, such as your IP address and browser type, through normal web server logging.
- Session cookies necessary for basic site functionality (e.g. keeping you logged in). These do not require your consent, since the Site cannot function properly without them.
- With your consent — given via the cookie banner shown on your first visit — we use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g. which pages are viewed). You can decline this at any time; no Google Analytics cookies are set unless you accept, and you can change your choice by clearing your browser's local storage for this Site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to: operate your account and the "My Purchases" / "My Favorites" features; process and deliver your purchases; respond to messages sent through the Contact form; and maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to provide the service:
- LemonSqueezy (our payment processor) handles all payment and billing information at checkout. We do not see or store your card details ourselves.
- Google Analytics receives anonymized usage data (e.g. pages viewed) — but only if you've accepted our cookie banner. See Section 2 above.
We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law. Full-resolution purchased files are delivered directly through your account on Photographium.com — no third party is involved in that process.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account and purchase information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Full-resolution files shared via Google Drive are only kept accessible for 7 days, as described in our License Agreement.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our Contact page.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Contact
